The differences within the Telangana Rasthra Samithi (TRS) came to the fore at its extended district executive body meeting here where scores of party workers gheraoed MLA D. Vinay Bhaskar accusing him of ignoring senior party activists.
The party held the meeting as part of its preparations for the massive public meeting planned on December 9 where it promises to mobilise 10 lakh public commemorating the one year of Union Home Minister P Chidambaram's announcement on separate Telangana.
The State level leaders were engaged in making preparations at bigger level while the district leaders were organising a series of meetings discussing the ways of mobilising the public for the meeting from all corners of the district. At a meeting organised by urban party president A Vidyasagar, scores of party workers gheraoed MLA D Vinay Bhaskar and sought to know why he got one B. Dinne appointed as TRS Urban Youth president while there were several seniors working in TRS for about a decade. However, another senior leader Dr R. Parameswar prevailed on the agitating cadre and promised to bring the issue to the notice of party president K Chandrashekar Rao.
