Collector Neetu Prasad on Thursday announced that a competition on designing logos for the ‘Indiramma Kalalu’ scheme was being conducted by the State government and the winning entries would be given cash prizes.

In a statement here, Ms. Neetu said that the scheme was aimed at implementing the SC,ST Sub-plan by way of spending the sanctioned amount on creating facilities in the residential areas of the people belonged to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

At the district level Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 would be presented to the best and second best entries respectively. The selected entries would be sent to the State-level competition, in which the best entry would get a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.

Interested candidates can send their entries to the office of the District Public Relations Officer on or before April 23. Further details can be had over the phone number 0884-2379252, the press release said.
