A 16-member team of Indian Administrative Service officers of the 2012 batch from the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, that was attached to the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), spent a day studying the work of self-help groups in Andhra Pradesh.

The day-long interaction was a part of their Winter Study Tour and included a presentation by SERP CEO B. Rajsekhar on Indira Kranthi Patham interventions. The team visited Medak district too and interacted with women members of the thrift groups, a press release said.
