HYDERABAD: The 10th Garment Fair, a B2B event, will be held at Classic Gardens here on July 26 and 27.

J. Manik Rao, president, Garments Manufacturer & Wholesalers Association (GMWA) said in a release that it would be inaugurated by Capt. K.F. Pestonji, chairman, Chermas Group. Last year’s fair ended up with Rs. 30 crore of business being transacted and about 2,000 delegates participating in the networking event, he said.

Product lines included ranges in cottons and blends, woven and knitwear, treatments and finishes, prints and patterns, lines and stripes and embroideries and appliqués, Mr. Rao said. Manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, dealers and retailers would participate in the two-day fair, he said, adding it was a win-win situation for all connected. Srikanth Sanga, chairman, Fair Committee, said the fair would have about 35,000 square feet of space for 100 stalls to showcase 500 brands.
