Carnatic vocal maestros the Hyderabad brothers, D. Raghavachari and D. Seshachari are going to be felicitated and conferred the title “Sangeetha Vidwanmani” by the Sri Sadguru Sangeetha Sabha here on Tuesday.

The felicitation is being done as part of the organisation’s 19{+t}{+h}annual music festival. Vocal maestro Bombay Jayasree inaugurated the festival with her vocal concert on Monday.

In a unique programme the organisation has arranged an innovative literary programme “Sahithi Kalpakam” conceived by Mallapragada Srimannarayana Murthy on Wednesday. The literary programme will be preceded by a performance of up and coming musicians P. Charumathi Pallavi (violin) and T.S.Sarath Santhosh (vocals). Vocal maestro Nisha Rajagopal will also give a performance on Thursday

The five-day festival will conclude with the vocal concert of Padmabhushan winner and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madhurai T.N.Seshagopalan on Friday, the Sangeetha Sabha secretary Popuri Gowrinath said.
