HYDERABAD: The HUDA has set up information centres/help desks to explain to people the concept of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) which is to come into existence. The Government recently issued G.O. 274 notifying the jurisdiction of HMDA with 54 mandals in Ranga Reddy, Mahbubnagar, Nalgonda and Medak districts. The help desks to function from May 1 to 15 had been set up at Shadnagar, Ibrahimpatnam, Sankarpalle, Sangareddy and Bhongir and manned by HUDA officers.

The following are the contact officers for the different information centres: P. Nagamani and P. Krishnamurthy -- Sangareddy Collectorate; M.M. Ali Qureshi and D. Yadagiri Rao -- MRO Office, Shadnagar; R. Nageswara Rao and B. George- MRO Office, Sankarpalle; G. Jayalakshmi and J. Viswanatham -- MRO Office, Ibrhimpatnam; and M. Padmavathy and R. Radmarani -- Sub-Collector Office, Bhongir. The centres would function on all working days between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The public may approach these centres for details.
