HYDERABAD: Suneel Goud, 31, assistant manager of HSBC bank’s Madhapur branch, was found dead in a room of Dwaraka Hotel at Lakdikapool on Tuesday. The Saifabad police suspect that Mr. Goud committed suicide by consuming poison after mixing it in a cool drink. A suicide note purportedly written by him and found in the room stated that no one was responsible for his death, the Saifabad Inspector, Sudarshan, said. A resident of Gandhinagar, Goud checked into the hotel room on March 15. He purchased two quarter bottles of whisky on Monday night, went inside his room and bolted it from inside. The hotel staff grew suspicious as he didn’t come out till Tuesday evening and alerted the police. He was lying dead on the cot when police broke open the room’s doors.
