The Lifeline Express, a state-of-the-art hospital-on-wheels is back at Wadi railway junction on a 22-day sojourn, after 17 years, from Wednesday.

This hospital on a train has a team of 16 expert doctors from prestigious hospitals all over the country.

The Lifeline Express, which completed 22 years of service to the poor, is a flagship programme of the Impact India Foundation.


Chief executive of the Lifeline Express Rajnish Gourh said only those patients screened at community health centres and primary health centres in 18 villages and 40 tandas surrounding Wadi railway junction and referred to Lifeline Express would be provided treatment.
