Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSV) Vice-Chancellor Hare Krishna Satapathy has been nominated for the prestigious ‘Adi Sankaracharya award’ and ‘Mahamahopadhyaya’ title of the Maharashtra government.

The Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek (Maharashtra) will confer the title on him for his long service to the cause of the Sanskrit language at a special ceremony to be held next Sunday.

Prof. Satapathy is already a recipient of the prestigious ‘Rabindranath Tagore award’, ‘Sahitya Akademy award’ and ‘Eminence award from President of India’.

Meanwhile, Telugu Bhashodyama Samithi congratulated Prof. Satapathy on the accomplishment.
