HYDERABAD: To meet the demands arising out of its various initiatives in e-governance, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has now decided to empanel manpower services supply agencies. The responsibility of these agencies would initially be to screen the candidates and forward them to the authority for further processing.

The call for service supply agencies was made after the IT cell of the HMDA felt the need to augment its IT manpower and the methodology of empanelment and process of selection were worked out.

For the purpose, agencies with five years of service in Information Technology and experience of providing appointment of manpower to any State or Central organisation or offices for at least one year period have been sought.

The HMDA resource requirement here mainly happens to be engineers, programmers and others as per the skill requirement.

On empanelment, the short listed agencies would be required to provide the personnel with qualification and experience in 1:3 ratio for screening by the HMDA committee.
