HYDERABAD: High Court will remain closed for summer vacation from May 5 to June 6, a release from the Registrar General stated on Monday.

Except appeals under Section 383 of the Code of Criminal procedure 1973 from the appellants who are in jail, no application other than of urgent nature will be received during vacations.

Notice of any application of urgent nature have to be given to vacation officers before 1.30 p.m. on the day of the filing. Cases, which have to be presented on the reopening day after vacation will be accepted in the Registry on June 7. During vacations, all urgent nature matters will be heard by the following High Court judges from 10.30 a.m.:

From May 5 to 7 and May 12 to May 7: Division bench of Justice G. Chandraiah and C.V. Nagarjuna Reddy and single bench of Justice G.V. Seethapthy. From May 19 to 21 and May 26 to 28: Division bench of Justice L. Narasimha Reddy and Ramesh Ranganathan and single bench of Justice C.V. Ramulu.

Officials have been appointed as vacation officers during the vacations. From May 5 to May 18, Deputy Registrar G. Ramakrishnaiah, Assistant Registrars M.T. Srinivas Charyulu and V. Ramakrishna will be vacation officers.

From May 19 to June 6, Deputy Registrar C. Vidyadhar Bhatt and Assistant Registrars S. Mangatayaru and P.S. Somayajulu will be vacation officers.
