The Central Crime Station (CCS) police on Saturday arrested one person on the charge of resorting to house-breakings and recovered from him gold jewellery and silver ornaments estimated to cost about Rs. 5 lakh.

Deputy Superintendent of Police R. Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, at a press conference here, charged Rajanala Sanyasi Rao alias Nanaji, 29, of SC Colony in Vakalapudi with committing four house-breakings in the II-Town and Sarpavaram police station limits in the last one year. Following a tip-off, the CCS team headed by inspector A. Rambabu nabbed Nanaji and recovered from him gold jewellery weighing 196 grams and silver ornaments weighing 750 grams. A case was registered and investigation was on.
