Likely to spend four hours in city

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy will visit Krishna district on February 10 to participate in several programmes. He is scheduled to arrive at Pallipalem of Kruthivennu mandal around 11.30 a.m., where he will inaugurate a bridge across Upputeru.

On arriving here around 1 p.m., Dr. Reddy will attend a programme to mark the launch of adoption of small temples, with no means to sustain themselves. He will then lay foundation stones for a string of development initiatives launched by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation, including construction of 15,000 houses under the JNNURM. He will attend a public meeting by Mala Mahanadu, before leaving for Hyderabad.
