GUNTUR: All is set for the whirlwind visit of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Thursday with Ministers and the MLAs leaving no stone unturned to make it a show of strength.

Dr. Reddy will take part in a roadshow covering the four assembly constituencies of Macherla, Gurazala, and Sattenapalli and later Guntur to take part in a series of programmes.

The Chief Minister will fly down to Rentachintala in Macherla constituency at 9 a.m. from Hyderabad.

He will hold roadshow in Gurajala, Ambapuram, Nadikudi, Dachepalli, Santhi Nagar, Veerapuram, Tummalacheruvu, Brahmanapalli, Piduguralla and Kondamudu. Dr. Reddy would have lunch in Piduguralla and would recommence Pallebata at 2.30 p.m.

His yatra would pass through Bellamkonda crossroads. He would address a public meeting in Sattenapalli.

The Chief Minister would then come to Guntur and address party workers on the GMCANA premises. He would then inaugurate the new Lalapet police station building and conduct the Rajiv Nagarabaata in the city.

Review meeting

He would then address a review meeting with the district officials from 7.15 to 8 p.m. and would rest at the R & B Guest house for the night. The Chief Minister would attend a private programme at Kothapet and would leave for Hyderabad the next morning.

District Collector B. Venkatesham, SP Mahesh Chandra Laddha and Municipal Commissioner Siddharth Jain reviewed the arrangements.

The SP visited Rentachintala and reviewed the arrangements. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the visit.
