President to arrive today; to give away Dr. Norman E. Borlaug Award
HYDERABAD: President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will be in city on a 20-hour visit to participate in the 93rd Indian Science Congress.
According to an official schedule, he will arrive late on Wednesday. On Thursday, he will attend the inaugural of a focal theme symposia, "Integrated rural development: Science and technology", and give away the Dr. Norman E. Borlaug Award, apart from the Indian Science Congress Association Young Scientist Awards.
At a National Virtual Congress of Farmers, Dr. Kalam will interact with farmers from eight locations across the country followed by the Children's Science Congress.
Later, he will take part in the golden jubilee celebrations of the high court and launch the Kidney Care Project of the Care Foundation at Care Hospitals. He will leave for Delhi in the evening.
