The court case to hear the petition of Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) for further custody of former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and managing director of Obulapuram Mining Corporation B.V. Srinivas Reddy was not held on Wednesday due to boycott of courts by advocates in support of separate Telangana.
The case has now been posted for hearing on Friday but the court is supposed to take up another petition of the Reddys for bail on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the CBI continued its probe in Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and Emaar properties cases by questioning representatives of Sagar cement, KVR Holdings, Trimex, IDBI and GAR corporation. A team of CBI visited the Central Forensic Science Laboratory at Ramanthapur.
