The High Court has constituted a 10-member committee to suggest measu-res to prevent suicides in educational institutions. The panel, which was constituted by a Division Bench comprising acting Chief Justice N.V. Ramana and Justice Vilas Afzul Purkar, will submit its report by June. The bench had earlier treated reports on the suicides as a writ petition. Mr. D. Prakash Reddy, amicus curie appointed by the court, had also submitted a report.

Vijra, Proctor, EFLU; Faizan Mustafa,VC, Nalsar, Prof. Martin E. Price, Restorative Service, Nalsar; Ms. Vasudha Nagaraj, advocate, A.P. High Court; Prof. G. Haragopal, human rights activist and Ramashankar Naik, Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education.
