Family members of a Haj pilgrim from Khammam, Mohammed Ataur Rahman (cover No. APF 3787-1), are worried about his health ever since he has been hospitalised in the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah following a kidney problem.
Mr. Rahman (59) developed kidney problem during his stay at Makkah Mukkarrama. Special arrangements were made to send him to India but just before boarding the flight he took ill and was shifted to the Saudi German Hospital at Jeddah. Mr. Rahman is in the ICU for the last 25 days and his condition is stated to be serious.
Since he is all alone, his son, Mohammed Ashfaqur Rahman, has appealed to the government to provide him emergency visa to attend to his ailing father.
The State Haj Committee on Monday addressed a letter to the CEO, Central Haj Committee, Mumbai, to arrange for an emergency visa to Mr. Ashfaqur Rahman to enable him to attend to his father.
