ADILABAD: Adilabad District Legal Services Authority (LSA) Chairman and Principal District and Sessions Judge K.L. Narasimha Rao on Wednesday said public representatives at grassroots level can guide rural litigants properly in case they are aware of the legal rights. He explained at length the concept of the LSA that can be of great help to the common man.

He was chief guest at the Adilabad division-level awareness programme organised by the LSA for the benefit of sarpanches, MPTC and ZPTC members here. Many of the sarpanches sought to know the ways and means to get legal relief as the government failed to implement the 73rd and 74th amendments to the Constitution related to the local self-governing bodies. The programme was presided over by the First Additional Sessions Judge S. Venkata Ramanaiah.
