Rajesh Guntupalli, research assistant professor at Auburn University, USA delivered a guest lecture on ‘Nanomaterials and biological applications’ at the School of Biotechnology, Vignan Univrsity on Thursday.

He narrated the sequences of acquiring of resistance by pathogens against penicillin via PBP (Penicillin Binding Proteins) and said the biologists have taken the advantage of formation of PBPs and fabricated the biosensors.

Mr. Rajesh also discussed about the detection of food-borne pathogens in liquid media.
