: The Group-II examinations conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) have concluded peacefully, on Sunday.

Of the 12,772 candidates who downloaded the hall-tickets 9,739 appeared for the exam (76.25 per cent) in the morning. In the afternoon there were 9,698 candidates, constituting 75.93 per cent, Nalgonda district Collector N. Mukteswara Rao said.

Warangal Staff Reporter adds: The exam concluded peacefully. The attendance percentage registered was 69.18 as 12,006 students attended the test against the total 28,805 candidates registered for the exam. As many as 17,304 hall tickets were down loaded by the candidates.

Peaceful in Sangareddy

Sangareddy Staff Reporter adds: No untoward incident was reported from 14 centres located in the district.

As many as 2,559 candidates appeared for the examinations out of the 3,772 candidates who had downloaded the hall tickets, according to authorities. Collector S. Suresh Kumar along with senior officials had visited some of the examination centres.

Mahabubnagar Correspondent adds: Speaking to presspersons Collector M. Purushotham Reddy said that out of 13,458 candidates who applied for the posts 8,640 have downloaded their hall tickets and 6,674 candidates attended the exam on the Saturday while 6,565 and 6,527 candidates appeared for the morning and afternoon examination respectively on Sunday.

Adilabad Staff Reporter adds: The second day of the test was a peaceful affair in Adilabad. Of the 3,180 candidates who downloaded the hall tickets 2,391 attended the first session and 2,385 attended the second session.
