It was a graduation ceremony with a difference. The enthusiasm was high but more than that it was their will to overcome the odds that made the event more special. The graduation ceremony of Persons with Disability (PwD) of the courses run by Dr. Reddy's Foundation (DRF) saw 100 students walking tall with their achievements.
Interestingly, 86 of them were already placed in several organisations at various levelsThe Amberpet MLA, G. Kishan Reddy, who was the chief guest, reminded that they were not people with disabilities but people with different abilities. Anuradha Prasad, Managing Trustee, Dr. Reddy's Foundation explained the activities of the foundation. Jitendra Kalra, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Reddy's Foundation; Meera Shenoy, Executive Director of Centre for People with Disabilities Livelihood (CPDL) and Kishan Singh Varma, Chairman, Kshatriya Rajput Trust Board were present.
