Urge the leaders to organise the event as early as possible
Representatives of Samaikyandhra Parirakshna Vedika and members of various organisations which are agitating in favour of United AP vowed to participate in the proposed Million March in Hyderabad.
They urged State leaders of Vedika to conduct the event as early as possible since private employees and others could not get opportunity to participate in Save Andhra Pradesh meeting with the directives from Andhra Pradesh High Court and Police Department.
On Sunday, they welcomed employees who attended in Save Andhra Pradesh meeting and enquired about their safety. Many employees explained about the ordeal all the way.
From Friday midnight, many of them did not get even tea break, snacks and meals with the Telangana bandh. Many of them were forced to go to LB stadium barefooted with the non-availability of auto-rickshaws.
South Central Railway did not operate MMTS services due to bandh call given by Telangana protagonists. Joint Action Committee of Srikakulam municipal teachers on Sunday deplored the attitude of Telangana protagonists alleging that they created lot of trouble all the way.
JAC convener Ch. Ramesh Babu and co-convener Chadrasekhara Satapathi said that “Save Andhra Pradesh meeting completed successfully despite many hurdles. It is only a beginning. Lakhs of people will participate in the proposed Million March to protect the State from division.”
The representatives of the Association K. Ratna Purnima and B. Ramachandra Rao said that the Union government cannot process the division of the State ignoring feelings of majority people in the State.
APNGOs associate president Chowdary Purushottam Naidu, the Association Srikakulam wing president Hanumanthu Sairam thanked all the members for making Hyderabad meeting a grand success and vowed to continue the strike till the achievement of the goal.
