An all-India level test for admission into five-year and three-year law programmes of GITAM University’s School of Law will be held on May 26, Vice-Chancellor G. Subrahmanyam announced at a press conference here on Saturday.

The test will be held at Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam for admission into five-year integrated B.A., LL.B (honours), five-year integrated B.B.A, LL.B (honours) and three-year LL.B for the academic year 2012-13. Prof. Subrahmanyam said GITAM University was the only university in the State offering BBA,LLM programme which combines management and law subjects. Director of GITAM Law School Y. Satyanarayana said students who are qualified in the Law School Admission Test (LSAT India) 2013 will also be admitted.

GITAM test consists of multiple choice questions in four sections in English including comprehension, general knowledge and current affairs, legal aptitude and logical reasoning. The application can be downloaded from the GITAM websitewww.gitam.eduand last date for submission of application is May 4. GITAM School of Law is planning to start masters and diploma courses from the next academic year. Registrar M. Potahraju participated in the press conference.
