Stressing the need for focusing more on poverty eradication, 20-point programme Chairman N. Tulasi Reddy on Friday said that the pending works must be completed at the earliest, so that the targeted beneficiaries would be benefited.

Stressing the need for overall development of the district, Mr. Reddy said that of the 18 ranking indicators, the district achieved its targets in 14 indicators.

He said that the officials were asked the reach the target in the remaining four areas by the end of this month, so that the district would get better ranking. Mr. Reddy released a book on the 20-point programme. Collector Neetu Prasad and others attended the meeting.
