Filmmaker A.S. Geetha Krishna has done the unthinkable. He is all set to can a docu-feature of 70-hour duration encapsulating the socio-cultural glory of India -- right from the Indus Valley civilisation to the present.
The director unveiled the plans for his mega docu-feature ‘My Country India Time Capsule’ after a 10-month research. From history to heritage, culture, tradition, industrial and economic progress, virtually every milestone, would be covered in the feature.
The objective, the director says, is not just to nurture the spirit of social harmony and nationhood among Indians, but promotion of the country as a destination for tourism and economic prosperity. He said the narrative would be structured in such a way that each capsule would showcase one State each. “We will be ready with the docu-feature in 12-14 months,” he said.
