Reiterating his demand for tabling of a bill on separate Telangana in the Parliament, the Telangana Praja Front (TPF) president and balladeer Gaddar has asserted that the front would spearhead the separate Telangana struggle in the form of a broad-based movement by enlisting the support of all sections of Telangana towards its logical end.
Mr. Gaddar addressed a meeting held under the aegis of the TPF at Palvancha in the district on Sunday.
The district ad hoc committee of the TPF with 18 members was constituted during the meeting. Keshulal Naik has been appointed as the convener of the committee.
The meeting chalked out the strategies for intensifying the statehood movement.
Later, speaking to media persons Mr. Gaddar said that the TPF was constituted to sustain and strengthen the movement built by the students.
“The TPF would strive to realise the long cherished aspiration of separate Telangana above political affiliations and also safeguard the natural resources of the region,” he said and added that the front would observe ‘Betrayal Day' on November 1.
Hoisting of black flags and other protest programmes would be organised on the ‘Betrayal Day', he said.
