Butterfly Edufields, an enterprise to transform children’s learning, has announced the launch of its initiative ‘Fun-do Land’ to increase comprehension of scientific and mathematical concepts by children, here on Thursday.
The initiative, to be launched at different locations on November 14, is open for students studying in schools which do not subscribe to the company’s educational initiative Butterfly Fields, informed K. Sarat Chandra, the Managing Director of the company. Students between five and 13 years of age can participate in the workshops.
As part of the programme, the children will get to build their own models related to science or mathematical concepts, with guidance from teachers. There will also be demonstrations, activities, and assessments that will help children in understanding the concepts better, Mr.Sarat Chandra informed.
Classes will be conducted at six locations across the city, namely Gachibowli, Hitech City, Kukatpally, Kondapur, Banjara Hills, and Karkhana. The programme will begin from November 17, 2012 and will go on till February 17, 2013.
Interested parents may register their children by calling 27711020 or 30608888.
