Four floors of a building which tilted slightly in Ramnagar locality were demolished by the GHMC authorities on Thursday.
Authorities said four floors were built without approval.
The original structure had a ground floor and another floor. Later, the owner added a shed and constructed three more floors unauthorisedly. The GHMC authorities said notices were issued, but the owner managed to get a stay order from a court.
With reports of the building tilting coming in, authorities declared it dangerous structure and swiftly demolished it. GHMC chief M.T. Krishna Babu said more demolitions of unauthorised structures would be taken up.
