The District Consumer Forum has ordered the HP Computers to return Rs. 3.16 lakh being paid by the National Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture (NCSA) for purchasing eight laptops, besides paying Rs. 2,000 towards court charges.

The NCSA had purchased laptops from the HP Computers and soon found that the quality of laptops was not good. It approached advocate P. Ramachandra Raju, who filed a case in the forum on behalf of the NCSA. Mr. Raju, in a statement here on Sunday, expressed happiness over the verdict.
