Gives 15 days time for repair of the road near Rajiv Circle and go begging on the streets to raise funds for the work if the Government fails to initiate steps

The road falls under the jurisdiction of National Highway wing of Surface Transport Department Inspection by higher authorities is required

KURNOOL: Former Mayor Bangi Anantaiah made a novel protest against delay in repairing a road in the city on Friday. Mr. Anantaiah and his supporters got their heads tonsured on the road at C. Camp centre near the Rajiv Circle. Mr. Ananthaiah and a hundred of his supporters took out a rally against the Government. The Municipal Corporation constructed the Rajiv Circle a year ago and created a landscape around it. But the road around it could not be laid as it fell under the jurisdiction of National Highway.
