District Collector S. Suresh Kumar called upon the headmasters and teachers of Government schools to make their best efforts for achieving cent percentage success in the SSC examinations scheduled to be held next month.

They should focus on students lagging behind others. Special classes have to be conducted to bring them up, he suggested.

Addressing a meeting of headmasters here on Friday, Mr. Suresh Kumar said the parents have to be encouraged to spare some time for coaching their children so that they could perform well in the examinations.

Pre-examinations may be conducted every week to help students know the areas in which they are weak and cover up the same in the actual examinations.

The headmasters have to ensure prompt supply of study material to the students. A thorough analysis of results has to be made and steps taken to improve performance in the following years, the Collector added.

Regional Joint Director of School Education P. Parvathi, DEO D. Anjaneyulu and others were present.
