The all new Elantra with “fluidic sculpture” has been renamed as the Fluidic Elantra and launched in the city on Saturday.
The latest car from Hyundai was launched by D.G.M of S.B.I Hannah Rachael Mani at the Sai Swarna Hyundai. Sales manager Bhagath Singh explained the features of the car on this occasion and said that this D segment premium has two different variations of 1.8 litre petrol and 1.6 litre diesel engines. The cars are priced competitively starting at Rs. 13,13,950 for diesel and Rs. 12,73,240 for petrol version, he said.
These engines generate a power of 149.5 ps /rpm in the petrol and 128 ps /rpm in the diesel model, said the Service Manager Srinath.
There are in total three petrol and four diesel variants with automatic option in both petrol and diesel, he announced at the launch.
Sai Swarna Managing Director Sundeep Babu spoke on this occasion and said that the car had already won many international awards like Top Safety Pick 2012, Highest Residual Value 2012 and Best Value car in America 2012 etc. He opined that the car commands immediate attention with its confident, bold, sophisticated and powerful stance.
Some of the attractive features of the New Fluidic Elantra include silica tyres, hill assist, electronic stability program, parking sensors, traction control system, airbags, impact sensing outdoor unlock, next gear shift indicator, cruise control etc.
