Party expecting entry of leaders from different parties during the padayatra

Former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s daughter Sharmila will spend five days during her ‘Maro Maha Prasthanam’ padayatra in Kadapa district beginning on October 18.

The YSR Congress leadership is said to have almost finalised her schedule in Kadapa district. After paying respects at late YSR’s grave in Idupulapaya, she will walk up to Vempalle where a public meeting is planned.

The second day will see her enter Pulivendula constituency represented by her mother Y. S. Vijayamma. She will cover the next two days in Vemula and Lingala mandals before entering Anantapur.

YSR Congress sources said a final road map would be ready in two days. One route suggested so far is touching Anantapur, Kurnool, Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda, Khammam, Guntur, East and West Godavari before touching North Coastal Andhra districts.

The party is expecting to see entry of leaders from different parties during the padayatra. In Telangana alone, Congress leaders like A.
