Dwivedi holds meeting with medical staff
There are number of vacancies for various posts
DMHO asked to shift staff from other hospitals
Kakinada: Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi has asked the Superintendent of General Hospital doctor M.B.R. Sarma and District Medical and Health Officer Vijayakumar to fill the vacant posts in the hospital with alternative candidates immediately.
He held meeting with medical staff of the Hospital in his chamber on Wednesday and reviewed almost all the departments in the hospital.
The Collector said that, according to the report submitted to him, there are number of vacancies of doctors, pharmacists, radiologists, nurses and other medical and non-medical staff in the hospital. He asked the DMHO and Hospital Superintendent to take action to fill the posts with alternative candidates, if no one is coming forward to join the posts whenever they are being announced through advertisement.
He also asked the DMHO to identify Area Hospitals and Referral Hospitals, where the medical officers and others are not having much work load and shift them to General Hospital here.
The Collector asked that the medical staff has to see that there should not be any complaint in delivering the services to public.
