Three pharmacy colleges in the State can collect a fee of over Rs.1 lakh for the Pharm.D course this year, with the highest being Rs. 1,04,200. Fee for the same course in other colleges ranges from Rs. 57,800 to Rs. 1,00,400.


The State government fixed the new fee structure for B. Pharmacy, Pharm.D and B.Arch courses on Thursday, in keeping with the recommendations of the Admission and Fee Regulation Committee (AFRC). Minimum fee for the B. Pharmacy course is Rs. 26,550, the upper limit being Rs. 88,000.

Several colleges fall in the Rs. 60,000 and above category and the enhanced fee was fixed based on accounts submitted by them.

Fee for the B.Arch course ranges from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 62,000.

The AFRC has also recommended a fee up to 5,000 US$ per annum for students admitted under NRI quota.
