Applications under the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) for which approval is pending subject to payment of dues should pay the fee by February 20. Failure to do so would lead to forfeiture of the amount paid so far and applications will be listed among the rejected, says a VUDA release.
The decision was taken as there was no response from the applicants in spite of repeated intimations resulting in pending of 236 applications with the VUDA. The applications are eligible for approval. On payment of dues, approval orders will be issued on February 28.
The dues should be paid within 20 days of intimation from the VUDA and approval orders will be issued to them within 8 days.
VUDA Vice-Chairman N. Yuvaraj fixed timeline for officials to clear applications for layouts approvals, building permissions, change of land use and other issues handled by the Planning wing.
At a meeting on Thursday, he warned of stern action against any delay or intentional deviation of the timelines. Developments without any permission or approval from VUDA would face criminal action apart from issue of notices, demolition and imposing penalty.
Building applications should be cleared within 45 days, layout approvals within 10 days after completing field inspections.
