HYDERABAD: Leaders of Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Central Association, led by its president E . Venkatesham, have demanded Pay Revision Commissioner to enhance the retirement age for government staff from 58 to 60 years.

On being invited by the Pay Revision Commissioner C. S. Rao to give their views, the leaders held prolonged discussions with him at the Secretariat on Wednesday, seeking restoration of the label of AP administrative service for non-cadre posts also.

They also demanded grant of special grade scale on completion of every five years of service on a par with Central staff and enhanced HRA and city compensatory allowance and also conveyance allowance of Rs. 2,000 a month.
