HYDERABAD: A convention of former Telangana legislators is being organised on Thursday at Sundaraiah Vignana Bhavan to discuss the injustice meted out to the region.

Telangana Ex-legislators Coordination Committee convenor M. Narayan Reddy in a press note issued here said the meeting would consider the latest political developments on the issue of Telangana State.

Former Governor B. Satyanarayana Reddy would be the chief guest while former Deputy Chief Minister M. Jagannath Rao would deliver the inaugural address.

Former Pradesh Congress Committee president P. Narsa Reddy would preside over the convention.

This would also be a unique occasion when public representatives from the region from 1952 to 2004 would discuss and debate issues pertaining to formation of Telangana State.

Mala Mahanadu stance

Andhra Pradesh Mala Mahanadu president Karem Sivaji has asked the Mala community members to adopt a neutral stand towards Telugu Desam Party and the Congress and prepare themselves to emerge as an alternative force in the ensuing panchayat elections.
