The Deputy Commissioner of Prohibition and Excise has notified that sale of liquor to persons below the age of 21 is prohibited. He cautioned that all A4 shops and 2B bars should strictly follow the order, failing which their licences would be cancelled. Persons below 21 years are also cautioned against indulging in purchase or consumption of liquor in any IML shops or bars. If they are caught, legal action will be taken against them, he warned.
