HYDERABAD: The annual career counselling programmes organised by The Hindu Education Plus for successful candidates of EAMCET will begin on June 1. The counselling sessions, to be held in 13 centres in the State, will be of immense help to students and their parents in choosing the right courses.
Renowned academicians will throw light on the career prospects of different streams of engineering, medicine, pharmacy, dental sciences, agriculture and other allied subjects.
The direct interaction will facilitate the students and parents to clarify doubts on career prospects in these times of recession, skills required to pursue any subject, etc.
Sessions on engineering stream will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and medical stream from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Registered students attending these programmes will be given a copy of an exclusive handbook consisting of articles on various careers written by senior academicians and the editorial staff of The Hindu. Registration fee is Rs. 100. Registrations can be done on phone/email or in person.
