Employment oriented training programmes and self-employment training programmes would be organised by the AP State Minorities Finance Corporation for eligible unemployed men and women in the 18-33 years age group from Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi communities.

At a meeting with Executive Officer of APSMFC Huriya Khanum and others, Additional Joint Collector Y. Narasimha Rao announced that the State Government allotted Rs. 12.77 lakh for the district for the purpose and employment-oriented training programme in computer course, advanced paramedical course and fashion technology and electrical, plumbing, carpentry, TV and AC repair, tailoring, motor repair, driving, mobile service and other courses for self-employment will be conducted.

Youths from the minority communities whose parents’ income is below Rs. 1 lakh a year can apply to the Executive Officer of the AP State Minority Finance Corporation, near Dandu Bazaar. Stipend of Rs. 350 for a local candidate and Rs. 1000 for a non-local candidate will be given during the training programme.
