‘Unity and integrity of the nation at risk’
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists led by party district president Palle Ganga Reddy symbolically burnt the effigy of terrorism protesting against the recent bomb blast in Bangalore, here on Thursday.
They demanded complete elimination of terrorism from the country.
Accusing the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre of being indifferent towards terrorism, Mr. Ganga Reddy said vote bank politics of the ruling party and its alliance partners was the route cause of terrorism.
If the Central government failed to act immediately, it would threaten the unity and integrity of the nation, he added.
Strongly condemning the recent blast before the BJP office in Bangalore, he said that people were watching everything and they were the best judges to fix the responsibility of political parties in the elimination of terrorism.
He said that the Congress party lacked leadership to take serious action against the menace.
