Chairman of the Micro Small Enterprises Development Corporation (MSEDC) B.V. Rama Rao on Wednesday said that efforts were on to encourage small and medium industries in the State by way of bridging the gap between entrepreneurs and the bankers.

Addressing a press conference along with the bank officials here, Mr. Rama Rao said that the MSEDC was formed to promote small and medium industries, which were facing several challenges including finances.

“Though the banks are ready to provide loans to the industrialists, there is gap between the entrepreneurs and the bankers.

We are here to bridge the gap and provide necessary guidance to the entrepreneurs,” he said, adding that plans were afoot to build warehouses on behalf of the MSEDC.
