HYDERABAD: East Coast Railway is running 32 weekly special trains between Puri and Bangalore and Bhubaneswar and Tirupati to clear the extra rush of passengers during Dasara festival.
According to a press release issued by the SCR here on Thursday, train no.0869 Puri-Bangalore weekly special Garib Rath will depart from Puri on Fridays from September 18 to November 6 at 14.30 hrs and arrive at Bangalore at 22.00 hrs next day.
Halts en route
In the return direction, train no.0870 Bangalore-Puri Express will depart from Bangalore on Saturdays from September 19 to November 7 at 23.00 hrs and arrive at Puri at 05.50 hrs on Mondays.
En route, the trains will halt at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Berhampur, Palasa, Viziangaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Donakonda, Nandyal, Dhone and Dharmavaram stations.
Train no.0871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati weekly special express train will depart from Bhubaneswar on Fridays from September 18 to November 6 at 11.45 hrs and arrive at Tirupati at 12.30 hrs the next day.
In the return direction, 0872 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar weekly special will depart from Tirupati on Saturdays from September 19 to November 7 at 14.00 hrs and arrive at Bhubaneswar at 14.00 hrs the following day.
