VISAKHAPATNAM: The East Coast Railway has decided to introduce a winter special train between Howrah and Mysore. Starting from December 4, the special train No. 0803, will leave Howrah at 04.10 hours on every Friday and reach Mysore at 06.35 hours on Sundays. The train will run till January 26. Similarly, starting from December 6, train No.0804 will leave Mysore by 07.35 hours on every Sunday and reach Howrah every Tuesday. The Mysore-bound train will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 05.50 hours and depart at 06.35 hours. The Howrah-bound train will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 12.45 hours (Monday) and depart at 12.40 hours, according to a press release by the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, H.L.Luwang.

With a view to clearing extra rush, the South Central Railway will run one express special train ( No 0748/0747) between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. It will have two trips from each side that is from Hyderabad on December 5 and 12 and from Visakhapatnam on December 6 and 13. The train will leave Hyderabad by 19.30 hours and arrive at Viskahapatnam by 08.30 hours the next day. In return journey the train will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.10 hours and reach Hyderabad at 08.50 hours the next day.
