Bringing the world of handicrafts closer to people, the Rural Development Ministries of both State and Central governments are jointly organising a Regional SARAS and DWCRA Bazaar from Friday, a press release said. The 11-day expo will be held till October 3 at People's Plaza, Necklace Road between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and entry is free for all.

From 16 States

About 600 women from DWCRA and Women Self Help Groups from 16 States, will put their creations on display.

Handloom products of various types, made with jute, coir, wood, metal, soft toys, terracotta, leather goods, readymade garments and even food items like pickles and snacks made in Andhra Pradesh, will be available, the release said.

The 13 {+t} {+h} such ‘Bazaar', the Regional SARAS, Hyderabad will provide a forum for showcasing and marketing products made by rural women belonging to Self-Help groups from across the country, the release said.
