The Dwarakanagar road, one of the arterial roads in the city, will be widened to 100 feet.
Besides, a building encroaching onto the main road at Sitampeta should be removed and the by-lane from it should be widened to 30 feet. Encroachments on the storm water drain behind the Country Club and Reliance Petrol Bunk should be removed and drain widened, Municipal Commissioner B. Ramanjaneyulu ordered during his morning visit to Division 13 on Monday. He directed officials to prepare proposals for widening the Dwarakanagar road from the present 80 feet.
At Relliveedhi, he paved way for construction of an additional block of 32 houses under JNNURM by speaking to the DM&HO over a site dispute. He ordered that a poultry farm be shifted from amidst the habitations. Corporator G.V. Ravi Raju participated.
