Who can ever forget the melodious number of ‘ee veelalo neevu em chestu untavo’ from ‘Gulabi’? As Yamunavahini belted out the beautiful song, the background music was accompanied by DTS Ramesh. Not with any musical instrument but with his voice.

Introducing a new flavour of orchestra to the city, Veeru Mama’s V Team in association with Flying Cats and Varun Motors organised DTS Musical Nite at Kalabharathi Auditorium here on Saturday. The three-hour programme kick started with a classical performance and continued till late in the evening. Singers Pavan, Akhila, Samir and Rachana belted out popular filmy numbers of Ilayaraja and A.R. Rahman while DTS Ramesh gave accompaniment mimicking instruments .

The programme also included juggling show, four-legged dance by Nani and robot show. Organiser of the show and RJ Veeru Mama spoke.

Visakhapatnam West MLA Vijay Prasad Malla, general manager of Varun Motors Srinivas and others were present.
