The doctors associated with Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Andhra Pradesh Private Nursing Homes and Hospitals Association (APNA) district units have also decided to come forward in checking the spread of dreaded dengue and other fever cases by providing medical assistance in Karimnagar district.
Accordingly, the IMA and APNA doctors have decided to adopt the villages from October 28 to 30 and conduct special medical camps by screening, identify dengue fever cases and provide necessary treatment and referral. The doctors would also launch health awareness programmes in villages to prevent the spread of diseases.
In a press note here on Thursday, IMA district president Ch. Ramana Chary, IMA secretary M. Praveen Kumar, APNA district president K. Prabhakar Reddy and APNA secretary Pullela Pawan Kumar said that the doctors along with their paramedical staff would conduct medical camps for a period of three days in the respective adopted villages and provide all assistance.
The adopted villages and doctors include: Vishnuvardhan Reddy (Devakkapalli village) B.N. Rao and Mallikarjun (Begumpet village of Bejjanki mandal). Ravinder Rao (Korem), D.C. Tirupathi Rao (Vilasagar), Jaganmohan Rao (Desaipalli) and T. Mohan Rao (Kodurupaka) of Boinpalli mandal. The Sai Ram hospital staff would adopt entire Choppadandi mandal headquarters and Arnakonda and Gumlapur villages of the mandal.
Narsimhulu (Dharmaram mandal headquarters), Ramana Reddy and Vijaymohan Reddy (Dongathurthy), Srinivas Vasudeva (Gopalraopet), Rajashekhar and Aryan (Nandimedaram), Adi Sridevi (Katikenapalli), Prashanth (Eligaid), Yakaiah (Kacharam) and Bangari Swamy (Asampalli), L Ram Reddy (kummarikunta), Roop Shankar (Teegalaguttapalli), Ramanachary (Durshed), Rammohan (Chamanpalli), PVK Kishore (Malkapur), Rajeshwar (Seetharampur).
Pullela Pawan Kumar and Prabhakar Reddy (Kothapalli), PR Rajender and Saiprasad Rao (Asifnagar and Bahupeta), Madoori (Rekurthy), Sridhar and Chandramathi (Muqdhoompur), Kishan and Laxman Kumar (Regulapalli), Mahipal Reddy (Laxmipur village).
Dr.E. Vijayender Reddy (Manakondur mandal headquarters), Vijayalaxmi and Naveen Kumar (Annaram), Srilatha (Pachunur), Riaz (Vegurupalli), Venkat Reddy (Gangipalli), Bheemanathuni Ramesh (Munjampalli) and Bhoom reddy hospital would adopt Korutapalli and Pandikunta villages.
Besides, the IMA and APNA Jagtial branch would adopt Jagtial town, Govindapalli, Dharmapuri town, Rayapatnam, Thummanala, Rajaram and Puduru. The Korutla and Metpally branches would adopt Korutla, Metpally and Shukravarampalli. The Jammikunta branch would adopt Veenavanka, Ghanmukula, Narsingapur and Endapalli.
